Jade Thornton is an independent college admissions counselor based in Denver, Colorado, working with students across the country. She holds a B.A. in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University, where she concentrated in cognitive science, rowed for four years with Stanford Women's Crew, and volunteered with Girls Who Code teaching coding fundamentals to low-income students.
Since 2024, Jade has guided high school students individually through every stage of admissions — building a personalized college list, developing application strategy, and drafting essays that sound like the student, not a template.
